Bring your products to Australia and New Zealand.

VT Week 2028 is the first exhibition built for the lift, escalator and travelator supply chain to meet the ANZ market in one place: the OEMs and independent contractors who buy components, and the developers, architects and builders who decide what goes in the building.

Planned for March 2028, then every two yearsTwo supplier days, two buyer daysCountry pavilionsProduct, Supplier and Best Stand awardsProceeds support the Lift Industry Foundation

Australia and New Zealand's independent lift companies are being invited specifically to find new suppliers. For most of them this will be the first time they have met the makers face to face. Exhibitors who want to can also present a technical session or run a live demonstration on the floor.

Interest only at this stage. No payment is taken on this page. The floor is zoned: complete systems, components and parts, home and villa lifts, escalators and travelators, the country pavilions, and a dedicated zone for premium dumbwaiters, goods platform hoists and car stackers (see below). Every exhibitor gets a seat at the "selling into Australia and New Zealand" clinic: AS 1735, the adopted EN standards, the state regulators and who can certify your product here.

How it works

1. Register interestTwo minutes. Tells us what you make and the space you would want.
2. We confirm numbersOnce enough suppliers have registered, we fix the venue and dates and tell you.
3. Small depositA refundable deposit holds your stand and your place in a country pavilion.
4. Contract and buildStand contract, pavilion allocation, and the exhibitor standard applies.

Wanted: premium dumbwaiters, goods platform hoists and car stackers

Three product categories where Australia and New Zealand have very few good options today. Buyers here have been burnt by cheap, unreliable equipment with no one to call afterwards. What they want is simple: a premium, reliable product with local support. If that is you, this floor was built for you.

Dumbwaiters and service lifts

  • Restaurants, hospitals, aged care, apartments and homes
  • The Australian market wants fire-rated automatic doors as standard, not an afterthought
  • EN 81-3 or AS 1735 compliance, a quiet drive and parts held locally
  • Live working unit on the stand is strongly encouraged

Goods platform hoists

  • Warehouses, retail back-of-house, mezzanines and factories
  • Buyers want reliability above everything: a product that keeps working, with rated loads clearly stated and interlocks that meet the local rules
  • A maker who answers the phone after handover

Car stackers and mechanical parking

  • Apartment and commercial developments where the car park decides whether the project stacks up
  • What is installed here today is often unreliable, with very little support. Buyers are wary and want proof: reference projects, certification and a local install and service partner
  • Developers and architects walk the floor on days three and four looking for exactly this

We will give each of these categories its own zone, its own entry in the buyers' guide and its own slot in the technical programme, and we will put you in front of the developers and consultants who specify them. Come with a local support plan, or come ready to find a partner on the floor. Tell us on the form which category you are in.

Indicative stand pricing

Australian dollars, excluding GST, for the full four days. Everything is included: there is no separate media entry, levy or catalogue fee. The prices below are the founding rate. They rise in two published steps of about 10%, so the earlier you register, the less you pay. The exhibitor standard

The buyers who walk this floor are deciding what goes into real buildings. Every exhibitor agrees to a short standard so the floor is worth their time, and yours.

What is on the stand

  • At least one physical product, cutaway or working demonstration. Brochures on a bare table do not meet the standard.
  • A specification sheet for each product shown, in English, stating the standards it is designed or certified to (EN 81 series, AS 1735 series, or equivalent).
  • A clear statement of whether the product is available in Australia and New Zealand today, and through whom.

Who is on the stand

  • At least one technically competent representative who can answer engineering questions in English, every open hour.
  • Someone with authority to discuss pricing and supply.
  • Stand staffed from opening to close on all contracted days.

How it looks

  • Stand design and graphics submitted for approval eight weeks out. Professionally produced graphics, no hand-made signage.
  • Products shown clean, labelled and lit.
  • No loud audio, no give-away stunts that block aisles.

How it is held

  • A presentation bond is held with the stand fee and returned after the event when the standard is met.
  • Stands meeting the standard are eligible for Product of the Year, Supplier of the Year and the Best Stand award, and are listed in the buyers' guide and the online exhibitor directory.
  • Best Stand is judged on the floor on day one, in two classes (pavilion and open floor), and presented at the VT Awards dinner.
  • Stands that do not meet it on opening morning are asked to fix it before the floor opens.

Checked before you're listed

Every exhibitor, sponsor and partner goes into the VT Week directory with a link to their website, and the directory stays online between events. Buyers use it to decide who to call, so we check every exhibitor first. Most of this you will need for the venue anyway; we check it once and use it for both.

With your deposit

  • ABN or NZBN, or company registration in your home country
  • Company website and a contact for buyers
  • Your product category and where you sell today

Within 30 days

  • Certificate of currency for public and products liability, at least A$20 million, covering Australia and New Zealand
  • Professional indemnity if you are a consultant or designer
  • No cover that extends to Australia? Short-term exhibitor liability cover is available locally and we can point you to a broker.

For each product shown

  • The certificate or declaration for the standard it meets: AS 1735, the EN 81 series or an equivalent
  • Australian design registration where the law requires it, or your plan to obtain it

Support and references

  • Your local install and service partner, or your plan for one
  • Two references from projects completed in the last three years
  • Once checked, your listing goes live with a "checked" date. Certificates are re-checked each year.

A listing means we have sighted these documents on the date shown. It is not an endorsement or a guarantee.

Register your interest

No commitment and no payment. We will come back to you with confirmed dates, venue and pricing once the exhibitor numbers are in.
